The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) was a student program that aimed to connect, engage, and empower youth in the Delray Beach Community.

YEP recruited over 17 high school mentors and 60 middle school mentees to participate in Carver Middle School’s academic tutoring sessions, social gatherings, and guest speaker appearances. Discussions included study habits, healthy nutrition, community involvement, negotiation, and goal setting.
